Good benefits for the city, but outdated culture and poor leadership
Pros
- There is a dedicated area for Talent Development, which is not common in every organization. - Being a relatively new area, there were many opportunities to design and implement new programs. - The benefits package is good compared to other companies in Aguascalientes.
Cons
- Highly traditional and hierarchical company culture, typical of some Japanese organizations. - Advancement often favors those with specific backgrounds or those who deliver short-term results, rather than those aligned with leadership competencies. - Lack of a “people-first” mindset—disrespectful behaviors such as yelling, humiliation, and even harassment are not uncommon. - Excessive control: employees need a signed permit to leave the parking lot, and any time spent on medical appointments or personal leaves is docked from your paycheck—down to the exact minute. - Poor handling of workplace harassment—I was terminated after reporting harassment from my direct supervisor.
