Pros
The staff are wonderful and great working relationships can be made there. As well as the idea of the organization is a very good one. They offer every services for under privilege community that they would need in one location.
Cons
Turmoil and bad decisions are made from the board members on down through senior management. Employees haven't gotten raises in years which means they lose very valuable skilled employees. There has been several times they couldn't do direct deposit because they can barely make payroll. Some long term contracts have been signed that are short sited and the understanding of the long term repercussion is not really vetted. There is not a lot of internal promotions so usually you leave at the same title you are hired at. There are no programs in place to mentor staff to move up.
