Pros

There are no pros. No one should work at Jiffy.

Cons

Where to start? This “company” will get you in the door by telling you the financial future is bright and the technology is cutting-edge, and nothing could be further from the truth. Jiffy is desperately trying to keep its head above water amid a torrent of departing employees (the majority of whom stay less than 6 months), dashed plans (there are no roadmaps or OKRs), rickety technology (site goes down all the time), and leadership abuse (cannot say the things that were said for fear of legal retribution). Leadership thinks they can use AI for every single aspect of work and abdicates real responsibility. They have no respect for individuals and the expertise they bring. The smartest and most accomplished employees leave usually within weeks because they discover leadership is not interested in anyone’s opinion but their own. The narcissism is malignant. Jiffy is so universally hated that every single employee is talking behind leadership’s back on non-monitored channels. Notice I said “non-monitored.” Welcome to North Korea: Jiffy will review your slack messages and AI notes from video calls, and doesn’t hesitate to fire dissenters. It’s a pathetic state of affairs.

The J in Jiffy

Pros

Wild and most unbelievable stories that will cause your friends and family to reach out to you more than ever to check on your mental state.

Cons

Once upon a time, before “J’s Way” swept through the halls, Jiffy wasn’t perfect — far from it — but there was at least some hope. Talented people were joining, trying to bring order, trying to rescue the place from itself. For a moment, it almost felt like things might turn around. And then came J’s Way — not a person, but a “leadership style” so stunningly misguided it could only be described as cartoon villainy. Imagine running a company by typing random things into ChatGPT, calling it “strategy,” and then scheduling meetings just to miss them. Picture someone entering a room, shouting about their “kingdom,” and instantly turning the entire team into statues, terrified to say or do anything that might draw attention. That’s J’s Way. Under this philosophy, chaos became the only constant. Projects were abandoned, priorities flipped daily, and morale plummeted. Talented hires — the ones who had shown up to fix things — either left in frustration or were pushed aside. Meanwhile, “J’s Way” strutted around, convinced it was playing 4D chess while barely managing tic-tac-toe. The result? An exodus. More than a dozen strong performers have left already, and many more are lining up to go. The company is now a “war zone,” but the enemy isn’t the competition — it’s the absurdity of leadership decisions that make progress impossible.

Pros

There are no positives to working at this company unless you trauma bond with a few coworkers to keep you sane while you work 15 hour days.

Cons

Every thing about working here is awful. Insane hours Micromanagement Toxic and abusive leadership Culture of blame Impossible expectations 0 growth opportunities They will say anything to get you in the door but be extremely careful and trust your gut. They will misrepresent the reality of working there and sell a culture and workplace that doesn’t exist.
