Worked at Jim Coleman Honda for nearly 3 months, was hired to sell new cars with extremely minimum training (never sold cars before). First week working there, completely unproductive, wasn't given access to VIN Solutions until my third Saturday, once I had the opportunity the "gatekeeper" was instructed to provide me with 200 day old leads that were already out of the market. All new car inquiries went directly to Sales tower, from there the GSM decided who was worthy of the business, internet leads were also controlled by the owner, nothing was consistent, mandatory TO's (transfer of ownership). Commission based system with a $485 draw every two weeks working over 50 hours a week. Overall, management demonstrated near zero interest developing new sales staff, occasional coaching and an overload of bragging rights.
