      Good money at times but that's about it

      potential to make good money, high menu prices. many great regulars.

      Cons

      Management, the one thing that all of the problems stem from. Expects you to pour your life into Jing and does not want you to pursue anything outside of the restaurant. He is an absolute tyrant that has intense mood swings. Plays favoritism, very strict about scheduling anything other than full time open availability, will switch up the rules from day to day and be borderline abusive to staff.

      Attractive restaurant aesthetic and high-end atmosphere Exposure to upscale dining and clientele Can be a good stepping stone to build resilience in a tough service environment Occasional high-tip nights depending on clientele Some team members create a sense of camaraderie amidst the chaos

      Extremely toxic and unstable management Owner exhibits controlling, erratic, and abusive behavior Favoritism and inconsistency in enforcing rules No respect for work-life balance Verbal abuse from managers, especially during high-stress situations Encouragement of unsafe and unethical practices Emotionally draining due to unpredictable leadership Verbal abuse and public reprimands are normalized Toxic culture where harassment from guests is tolerated No support system in place for employees dealing with mistreatment Little to no appreciation or recognition for hard work Rules and expectations change without notice, leading to confusion and stress Strong gender bias and lack of respect toward women Compensation does not reflect the demands and emotional toll of the job
