    I have been working at Jive Software

    Pros

    good autonomy and interesting clients. Culture is important to Jive and there is good open dialog on the company road map and strategy.

    Cons

    Being in a remote office means less support and often there is 24 hour lag while waiting for answers from HQ (in USA).

    We built an amazing set of productivity products. I was in the mobile team and we put emphasis on user experience and stability.

    Pros

    Ability to work on the large-scale product used by millions of people. Modern technology stack (AWS services are heavily in use) skilled engineers (Chief architects)

    Cons

    Constant changes in project goals without the right communications of reasons behind them; Some metrics don't make much sense as they are focused on some ceremonies instead of things important for customers or even the company.

    I have been working at Jive Software full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Office amenities, coffee, snacks and drinks provided daily. Excellent employee support for computer related equipment. For the most part good cross team collaboration.

    Cons

    Now that Aurea LLC owns Jive. It's now the worst place I've worked at. The office building was closed, forced to work from home. You have to pay out of pocket to repair or replace computer related equipment. No vacation or sick time. You have to "clock In" virtual time clock. Any time off is at no pay regardless of use case. This even includes maternity leave.

    Pros

    * Before the buyout it was my favorite place that I worked

    Cons

    * After the buyout the company has lost nearly all of the employees that made it great
