Awful Experience at Job Mobz

Pros

None to be honest, and I know I am not alone in that feeling.

Cons

Company does not pay on time or at all for that matter. Nor is there any clear indication on health benefits. This company’s culture is also very weak. The CEO in team meetings often won’t even go on video and general slack channel is restricted from anyone being able to post questions or speak freely. Restricting the slack channel was most likely due to employees complaining about the inadequacy of the company.

I hear you and I empathize with your situation. We definitely could have had a much smoother M&A onboarding and integration process. The truth is we acquired multiple companies (4) in record time, one of which was having financial trouble. My suspicion is you joined through that company. Which is to say it was a much different onboarding experience than is normal because of the speed at which it needed to happen. That being said I appreciate your feedback and we look to improve our internal processes to make M&A smoother in the future. As for the culture piece, how many Job Mobz team members have you talked to? Have you reached out to anyone who has been here for over 6 months? If not I'd challenge you to do so because there is a reason all of them decided to work here for less money than in-house tech positions for the past few years. The reason they stayed is a strong culture, one that promotes autonomy, growth and career progression. Some of the values being open communication, work life balance, results over hours worked and leading with gratitude. I hope you have the chance to experience this yourself here. My door is always open if you want to connect directly. -Jesse

Pros

-some great people here that are stuck here over the years - Some good clients, you can leave and go fulltime at a better pay one sometimes.

Cons

-not getting paid on time -lack of healthcare -CEO is too busy on social media seeking attention to address internal issues -throws employees under the bus to save face to clients -lots of turnover, yes the current market is to blame but lots of voluntary departures -Acquistions/mergers not vetted for culture/team chemistry -Lots of promises not kept by CEO, doesnt matter what he responds on here, lots of employees say the same.

Pros

Work from home and get work my own schedule.

Cons

Everything! I was lied to upon several occasions. I tried addressing concerns and “HR” sent me to the “Founder” and he dodged me. Why? Because he wasn’t holding up his end of the bargain and was scared to face the music. If you care about your reputation as a Recruiter or human, stay away. It’s a bros club and the “All Hands” were intolerable and frankly an embarrassment.
