Abusive workplace. This place was a sham. Len should be ashamed.
Pros
Please understand, I say all of this BOTH as a survivor of childhood cancer AND someone that Len Austrevich emotionally and mentally abused as an employee. There were no pros to this job. Thank god this company shut down. What little good they did for children with cancer was heavily outweighed by the misery that Len brought to his many employees of the years. The only positive was that many of my fellow co-workers were incredible people that also wanted to do good. I'm glad I got to meet them. Im sorry that they endured this abusive workplace.
Cons
This job was soul sucking. Its been years since I worked there and am leaving this review so people understand the real legacy of this place. It was one of the worst times in my life. There were some wonderful people working alongside me and I saw the light leave their eyes after a few months of scraping dog poop and cat vomit and cleaning the owners disgusting apartments - after being hired for a VIDEO PRODUCTION role. Read any of the negative reviews - they tell the real story. The positive reviews were written by management themselves or employees that were coerced / asked to write a positive review. FYI - Years ago we reported them to the Bureau of Labor - only to be told that J4M "didn't qualify as a real company" and therefore were out of the Bureaus jurisdiction. Just let that sink in for a minute.
