Pros

Everyone seems a bit TOO happy. They do this to boost morale so that you get excited about going to Walmart in your expensive suit to sell DirecTv to the public all day.

Cons

Where do I start? They promise pay for the training period which is about a week, but if you make no sales, you don't get a check. So basically the 1st week is on you. You're at their office for free. I was hired along with everyone else in my group (around 6 people), this should've been a big RED flag for me! I gave them a chance just to find out you have to dress up in a suit or dress every day to sell DirecTv at a Walmart all day, every day. You're there selling DirecTv around 8-10 hours every day. And you're taught basically to scam customers. Tell them they're getting this great deal with so many channels of DirecTv for so little money (when it's really for the customers first 3 months of service, but they advise you not to mention that). The public can obviously see through this so you deal with bad attitudes from them. This company hates it when a former employee says they never received a check, which is why they respond very defensively to reviews. This is Glassdoor. I am ALLOWED to post my review on here!!! Just go to any website and see for yourself that this "company" is always hiring. That's because people leave when they find out it's a scam. Visit their website too. It's very shady. Unfortunately, scams like this are growing and the public needs to be aware. There is another one of these scams in the Northwest called Renaissance Consulting. Same garbage with a different name.

Thank you for your response. We are sorry you had such a bad experience in your week that you were employed here. We will look into your complaints and try to learn from them. One strategy is to have our candidates "shadow" an employee for 20 minutes inside the store during the interview response so they have very clear expectations about what a typical day might look like on this campaign. It is true that one of the programs we work on is ATT/DTV inside Retail stores. There is a lot of rejection and this position is not for everybody. If you were not compensated correctly please call our office and show us what you were paid and the corresponding time sheet for what weekending and we would be happy to rectify any issue. Our IT team will consider your comments about "shady website." We have no affiliation with the other company mentioned. Lastly many large corporations use 3rd party labor or outsource for speed to market and to create market-share. We hope you found a fulfilling career.

Pros

I met some great friends. Music was okay. It was close to home but that’s honestly about it. Way more cons than pros.

Cons

This ‘company’ is an absolute joke. I wasted so much of my time in this god awful place. There are absolutely NO benefits, there’s basically NO pay checks. If you don’t make enough sales then they will give you $10 an hour for 40 hours THEN YOU HAVE TO PAY THEM BACK?! This whole job is basically you going to a store scamming people and getting nasty comments all day. You aren’t reimbursed for gas, you could honestly go home after an 8-10 hour day with nothing in your pay check. Everyone there are so fake and make you believe you are such an important person for this company, but trust me after your first week if you’re got getting the sales to go in the CEO’s pocket... you’re just the crap on their shoe. The CEO gives a big presentation on how he got to where he is and even shows you his pay check which is completely screwed up because it’s your hard work that is getting him that money and getting you absolutely nothing. I turned down a steady job to work here because they made everything seem so promising. It should be ILLEGAL.

Thank you for your review and opinion regarding your experience within our company. We take your feedback and negative review seriously. Sounds like you didn't have clear expectations regarding compensation and we will look at our orientation and interview process to make sure any candidate has an accurate picture regarding pay - your impression is not how our sales people are compensated so we will look at the disconnect. Please call the office and speak to Andy and I am sure he can resolve any issue or clarify any misunderstanding and provide your signed copies of your paperwork. Company policy is to have an open door policy regarding anything supporting our sales teams. Reading this review also suggests you worked here for a very short period of time and didn't really understand the career opportunity. Scam is a harsh word and not a word a company that has been around 15 years is usually associated with. We can tell your upset and this opportunity didn't work out the way you would have like it to and you point your aggression at the CEO. I have worked directly with the CEO and he doesn't work hands on with everyone so I find it highly unlikely that you really got to know him because I think you would have enjoyed his company and benefited from his mentorship Thank you for the review nonetheless
