Great company, but its not for everyone

Pros

Low-key, casual, relaxed, easy-going environment. People are friendly, and the upper management is professional and understanding. There are great healthcare benefits and dental coverage. Free lunch on Fridays. Great location close to freeway. Free parking.

Cons

There is not a lot of flexibility--you will have to spend at least 8 hours/day sitting in your cubicle. (There is no working-from-home or working remotely). This is not the workplace for a social butterfly--most people tend to keep to themselves. It may or may not be your sort of thing. One downside is no 401-k Match.

Pros

If you want a small family owned company with an easy pace and lots of proprietary technology this is the place to be. Great work life balance, never much pressure to move the bar.

Cons

After 12+ years, still a struggling startup passed the 8 year sweet-spot for IPO. Business model not scaling well, a few techies hold the keys to the kingdom, and won't give them up. C-Level has too much optimism and not enough realism.
