Pros

We try to help those that need it.

Cons

Leadership will openly lie to your face, knowing they are doing it at the time, and go back on promised bonuses or promotions. Leadership is so reactionary that they had to send out emails directing us to write positive reviews because of some truthful negative reviews. It's like leadership doesn't understand that they created those bad reviews with their unethical and deceitful actions. The truth will win in the end. If we could just get rid of one or two high level trouble makers the company would be able to right its current course and be successful. I don't see that happening any time soon as we have been dealing with these issues for longer than I have been here (over a year). I would stay away as far as you can until leadership changes at the executive level has been made.

Red flags everywhere

Pros

- Fairly flexible work schedule depending on who your immediate supervisor is - Ability to attend CEUS without having to use up PTO - Most of the therapists and RC's care deeply and were wonderful colleagues - Clinical experience is good if you're interested in working with co-occurring disorders - you'll learn a lot quickly

Cons

- Raises are few and far in between, but management asking more and more of you happens frequently - Extremely unrealistic and constantly changing expectations around documentation, caseload requirements always increasing - Clinical licensure supervision was no longer being included as part of the benefits package by the time I left (which is unfortunate, as they primarily hire pre-licensed clinicians) - Very poor communication between clinical staff, medical staff, and business staff - Quite a lot of favoritism and nepotism - People getting promoted to positions they were absolutely not qualified or prepared for (see above about favoritism) - Benefits are terrible. I had no 401K match the entire time I worked there. Health insurance plan was so poor that I avoided medical care. - No PRN therapists, so sick days and time off were really difficult to manage and we were often expected to figure out our own coverage for groups - Lack of attention to and training/education around diversity issues - lots of smoke and mirrors; management often had the right words to say but didn't follow through with actions -High turnover of therapists

Leadership is the problem

Pros

There are no pro’s for JourneyPure

Cons

The highest levels of leadership refuse to take any accountability for what is actually happening at JourneyPure. They are engaged in unethical behavior and when the C level was alerted to the behavioral issues they hushed (or waited two weeks and fired) everyone that blew the whistle and protected their own. I’m glad I wasn’t there any more to see it all happen. It is not surprising to me that employees are leaving left and right and they are having trouble meeting their goals. Leadership changes need to be made immediately or the company is going to continue to be used as a slush fund for a C level employee and his buddies that he hired.
