I really enjoy coming to work at joy. I mean this in the most basic sense that when I wake in the morning I don't dread work and I know that when I'm in the office I can be myself. The culture is fantastic. All the employees here seem like a family. We are constantly doing activities together and making jokes.
The company has high standards of work as well (especially when it comes to design) and it feels good to work on a beautiful product.
As a former YC company there is an emphasis on growth and things are constantly improving and changing.
There are only a few of us and it's up to us to ship and make the product great. I like having that responsibility and it leaves no room for internal politics or any other nonsense you would have at a large company.
Cons
All the usual small company things that can be good or bad depending on your personality. Not a lot of official processes, not a lot of resources, you might have to wear a few hats (these are all things I love but I know some people out there don't).
