Pros
Chandigarh. That is the only reason you should consider working at Jugnoo. But keep in mind that there are only worse places in Chandigarh than this. That is the only reason people work here, because they want to live close to their families.
Cons
Downsides? There are so many. The company is like a 'lala ki dukaan'. The CTO is immature and doesn't know how to talk, lacks technical knowledge and gives appraisals to only bootlickers. For the technology division it is like 'either you gel with him or suffer'. No importance is given to the work you do, rather how well you talk to the CTO, agree with everything he says and laugh at his stupid jokes. They often talk about smart work and no fixed working hours but they start rolling eyes if you leave early, even if your work is complete. The HR department is pure politics and will try to mess you up whenever possible. Such negative environment. The worst thing is the supposedly PMs have no technical know-how at all. They do not consult the developers on what should be done, just make plans and hand them over and fix an arbitrary deadline. There is no plan, whatsoever. Talking on the learning aspect, there are no code reviews done, the code quality is unimportant, the architecture is crappy, all they want is that 'the code should run'. This approach caused the initial product to be haphazard, buggy, slow and poorly designed. With the new breed of PMs and especially bootlickers like Saurabh Wadhawan things have only gotten worse.
