Pros

I think this company is going places. I love the new CEO. I think is a chance to get in on a future giant. I really believe this is a 'unicorn in the works.

Cons

You don't get to meet all your colleagues because many are international. People in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Sydney, USA, Malaysia, etc. Needs a better intranet.

Hi there. On behalf of everyone at Juwai.com, we want to thank you for your review and for sharing the suggestion to create a better intranet, which the IT team is actually in the process of delivering right now. They are already working with a couple of teams to configure those team's custom features and will soon roll out the whole project to the entire company, worldwide. They are working hard on it, so I hope you like it. :)

Pros

No real positives working here. The salary is low, the people are not encouraging, the product doesn't work, you deal with clients swearing at you because they have no results, the company name means nothing, its a career dead end job. Unless you can't find a better job elsewhere, move on. The only clients they have are friends that they signed partnerships with. You might hear big names mentioned, but that person also works at that company and Juwai at the same time. Conflict of interest at a minimum.

Cons

No one has heard or of can spell the company name, Juwai. Clients are for the most part dis-satisfied with Juwai's products. They just don't work. They have large numbers but for all of the millions of visitors they claim, only 1-2 deals have ever come through. Company set up is anti-employee. Management will tell you lies in the interviews to get you on board then the truth comes. Company sets up online payment systems to cut out employees their commissions and all repeat business goes to the company. Lots of favorites internally and no internal structure. Team is full of constant smokers and the owners go through at least one pack of smokes every day, so the office often has a heavy smoke smell. Everything in the office is of poor quality. (Had water leaks amongst other things several times). Company is too cheap to fix anything properly. The company will hire anyone and everyone is on a different package. Management meetings consist of vulgar language and trash talk. Nothing of real merit is accomplished, you are blamed as a whole why there isn't more revenue, management constantly threatens to close the business and fire everyone, answers are demanded and vulgar language follows. Salary payments paid at the last minute and the company always waits until 5pm on a Friday to give a cheque so you can't cash it until the following week. Real classy to say the least. Another surprise that they don't tell you is the working hours, most of the client's are overseas and they don't tell you this initially but you need to work on US or Europe time zone which requires overnight working hours.
