After doing my PhD from a good central Institute, I joined KL University, Hyd campus as an Assistant Prof. in the CSE department. And Nightmare starts from there. 1. Work work and works, all kinds of works, it might be clerical like calling students to collect FEES, teaching the students with any assigned subjects where you have no interest in that subject even, doing research and publishing journals, bringing External Projects Consultancy project and so many. Even you are from IIT, you have to participate in different CODING challenges and in each semester You have to do two global certifications without financial aid from the university. If you take the financial aids from the university, you have to sign a bond that you will serve here for the next 3 years. 2. In each month you will get a salary between the 7th -11th of the month. 3. At the time of joining they will say that there are two months of the notice period if you are leaving the KL, But in actuality, the notice period is 6 months if you want to get the releasing letter. 4. Now, they ask for the original certificates from the faculties which will be kept with them and will be returned to the faculty while they leave, I am much doubtful about this. However, this thing is not given to you in a proper written format. 5. Each month one CL will be added to your leave balance. There are several ways to cut your salary as loss of pay if you fail to meet the given target. 6. Strict timing for office is 8:00 AM, if you are late by 1 minute then you to do 1-hour extra work for that day. Normal working hours are 8 hrs. 7. Always be in a formal dress no jeans/t-shirt or anything else. 8. KL, Hyderabad is running on a rented campus near Aziz Nagar, however, the new campus may be in the next 4-5 years at Bachhupalli. 9. Small Canteen, often you will get no chairs to take your meals as students are overcrowded. 10. No AC in the staff room, No Desktop/Computer will be provided to you. You have to bring your own laptop for the office works. 11. No increment even after 1 year of your job. 12. The administration is very slung language often and give threatening to the faculty. 13. For the Prof. position, they have to publish 4 Scopus journals each year mandatory, and Asso Prof. it is 3 and for Asst. Prof. it is 2 Scopus. Else Backlog will be counted for you. After doing all teaching and clerical and admin jobs you will get no time to do research. 14. Even on a few holidays, you will get meeting calls/ work/notifications from higher officials. No Summer/Winter vacation. 15. Just for 5,000-15,000 extra money, why take this Toxic work culture? It gives you high blood sugar and high blood pressure only.

Worst institute...on the planet. Very hectic schedule No Sunday holidays. No public Holidays. 7.20am to 7Pm schedules Very pressured working environment Not good management - no ethics and human values. If u want to relelive from ur job, u must give six months prior notice. Relieving is very very difficult, they will show u real torture.... No recognition for ur work If u are very silent, sensitive person....u were exploited by all the professors...... Worst institute on the planet ( in my experience 10yrs) this is the worst institute.
