      Awful pay, incredibly frusturating management

      Pros

      The people you work with are really lovely and you can learn a lot early on.

      Cons

      The pay is abysmal. We aren't funded well, in a visit from the company's higher ups they said "It's amazing how you all do so much with so little.", which feels unbelievably patronizing.

      Pros

      Kind and supportive coworkers. You’ll learn how to do multiple roles within news because chances are you’ll have to fill in at some point.

      Cons

      News department is severely understaffed and underpaid. We’re basically a secondary station to KEZI in Eugene and have very limited editorial input when it comes to shows. Allen media continues to put profits over a quality product, and news staff and the community are paying for their poor decisions.
