      Top ten market. Great Day Houston. Great insurance.

      If you are a technical person, No one will ever listen to you. Bad habits are spread like gold stars. They only like to employ those who are not of a technical background.

      A once great station that could be great again

      Pros

      Friendly Staff, Great Flexibility, Culture of Promotion, Excellent DEI initiatives, most everyone has good interpersonal skills and acts with kindness, good opportunities to include family in service projects, very supportive of a strong work life balance, expectations always clearly stated.

      Cons

      A leadership team that couldn’t make decisions quickly leading to bottlenecks in process, strong ratings decline with no concrete plan to improve, an impersonal general manager who struggled to force collaboration between high ego department heads. General sense of “us vs them” regarding other departments at the station. News product has become extremely politicized as compared to other local stations.

      Clear favoritism to select employees. Disconnected management and bully tactics used by executives to gain compliance in both big and small tasks.
