Pros

Great engineering team, extremely flexible, really smart people.

Cons

Work life balance is promoted but unwanted by the CEO, expected to work nearly 15hr /day with new Triva App direction. Company pivots without actually investing into how to make money Management lies or embellishes stories to engineering team. Everything is rushed, forced monday pep-talk calls from angry empty words CEO. No 401k offered Budget constrained in the wrong ways. Global downsizing of offices, beware.

Pros

* The staff are generally very intelligent and enjoyable to work with * Opportunity to work on various projects are open

Cons

* If you do not agree with or challenge senior management(s) POV you will be shunned from meetings, sharing thoughts etc. * You are made to feel like your input matters, but decisions have long been made without further input or guidance that can affect the trajectory of the company * Lack of developmental opportunities * Dev team is overworked and overlooked, and pressured to ship ship ship without a care of how late they've stayed up or known issues they've expressed (treated as a resource and not people) * WFH and vacation is presented but also shunned * There is no diversity amongst gender, race or age in the office * Very macho and bro culture * No clear vision on the core product "Hangtime" * Too many products the entire company is working on * Not and honest data driven data company, more of a "gut feeling" kind of place * Anger issues amongst some people in management that are on full display more often than they should be

DO NOT WORK AT KISWE!!

Pros

There are minimal Pros. Remote work. You can get away with hardly working at all. Free snacks at the office. However being at the office is rare. Unlimited PTO.

Cons

Kiswe's upper management has no clue about the industry it is in. All of upper management are friend's from a previous employer at a telecom company. You will get verbally abused by the CFO. You will work night and weekends. The CEO will preach about how well the company is doing when in-fact they can hardly make any money. You will always stress that the company will just go away.

Thank you for providing your thoughts here, I'm sorry to hear that your time at Kiswe wasn't more favorable. We've made some changes since your post, and while we can't change your time here, we can communicate a few updates: - We have a few new leaders and managers on the team. - Team members that are within a commutable distance come into the office Tuesdays and Thursdays, which garners 12-15 team members, and we do have fully remote team members as well. - We do have some team members work nights and weekends on our Operations team supporting various events, and others that rotate on call based on potential client needs. We work to communicate these role requirements in the interview process. If you'd be open to sharing more with us about your experiences, I'd encourage you to reach out to HR@Kiswe.com so that we can find some time to connect. - Dan, Director of HR
