Pros

A few good people make it tolerable.

Cons

You will not grow. If you're early career (green), you will not be taught industry standards. If you're a veteran, you will not be working with industry standards. You will not move up. You will not be able to explain the madness and have anyone believe you.

Pros

I really enjoyed the relationships I made with other employees, and I learned a lot about the industry. My on-air skills improved significantly. The studio is up-to-date with the latest technology.

Cons

Very poor pay. Very little vacation time. I even had one day of unpaid time off denied. As an hourly employee, I was forced by management to rearrange hours on my time card to avoid being paid overtime (which is illegal). The news director was one of meanest & rudest people I've ever worked with. Schedule changed on a weekly basis (mornings, then nights, then midday, then weekends, and back again).
