The management in Orlando/Florida sucked. Management was hardly in the office and they would often bad mouth employees in the presence of other employees, creating a culture of extreme favoritism and unfairness. There's a male paralegal there who doesn't like to do work for female attorneys, so you'll be doing your own paralegal work. He might be overworked, but you wouldn't know because he's never in the office and he doesn't respond to emails or TEAMS messages. Management knows about the complaints about this male paralegal, but enables the behavior, so basically don't complain about him if you want to be liked/included. It's also a "boys club". Honestly, most firms have some level of a toxic work environment and KNCH wasn't that bad, but the worst part of the management was a lack of help and accountability. They will blame the associates for their failures and it's disheartening. Nobody wants to do a bad job, but it's inevitable when you don't get enough help from the partners and paralegals.
