      Bad work culture. Very high turnover!

      Insurance coverage and free lunch. But nothing fancy.

      Cons

      Many staff resigned. In 6 months, about 10 left and company size is small because start up..maybe only 40 to 50 people. Company culture is staff must meet unrealistic due dates instead of produce good and long lasting results to generate revenue over the long run. Work not as good also accepted as long as meet the due date of now and tomorrow. Sales often receive late night texts and calls from their boss to have unimportant and irrelevant discussions. Boss only work through phone calls. Operations side staff shouts at each other angrily in office. Openly create hate against each other. Marketing department is messy. Nobody has stayed for one year. Creative work all by design agencies in pakistan and india. During launch of the satellite in usa, the agencies turned their backs on the company and the staff had to take over the work. Turnover rate for support staff also high as some have been "outcasted" from other people in office. Politics very bad. To thrive or to survive, must be good at handling office politics.

We are incredibly proud of our small team. We work hard at building a strong culture, offering flexible hours and opportunities to try new things working alongside suppliers and partners in Asia, America, Europe, and Oceania. In December 2019, Kacific hit its largest milestone yet, launching Kacific-1, our $250 million communications satellite, into space and commencing commercial service. This is an exciting but busy time and one of rapid growth, which means our staff must adapt to regular change, be resilient, and be very comfortable with evolving processes. Job descriptions are fluid and there are always challenges to overcome. This environment is not suitable for everyone. In response, we have adjusted our HR recruitment strategy to improve our selection processes and avoid mismatches in future.

      Pros

      I've worked at Kacific since 2016 and the team is great to work with. The company is a start-up and we have just (Dec 2019) launched a new satellite into orbit and are building a great business throughout the Asia Pacific. The work is never boring and there is always plenty to do. There is loads to learn and everyone is happy and helpful. Yep free meals, health cover and flexible hours combined with good pay. Kacific is a great company with a family feel. The management team is very busy as you would expect, however if you need anything, they are always there for you. The whole company was taken to Florida to the satellite launch in December 2019 and we all stayed in a wonderful mansion estate before going to NASA and watching our SpaceX rocket take off and a huge party afterwards. This was all paid for by Kacific! There was a family vacation to Indonesia last year and the year before that after CommunicAsia show in July. Again all paid for by Kacific. If you are lucky enough to get an interview this is a wonderful company to work with. In August September 2020 the HQ is moving to a new and modern office at a great location in Singapore. Loads of facilities and close to shops and transport. 100m from an MTR station.

      If you are expecting to have someone do all you work for you, or you think you are better than anyone else or have worked for the government for too long then find another company.
