Pros

Nothing much about Pros here, except mentioning about the following influential & inspirational person. - Sunil Motaparti, Founder of This Organization, He is the most sensible person ever seen in my life. Always supportive & encouraging people ideas, innovations. Once you meet Sunil & travel with him for some time you’ll never leave the organization, He is such an inspiring personality & you’ll build an immense respect towards him. He always believes in Employee Satisfaction is supreme important. - Higher salaries for doing nothing, All you have to do is acknowledge the self dabba , praise & chant the self-proclaimed multi-talented genius, Play caroms, text WOW, AWESOME, GREAT , 'How come you get this ideas yaar' , 'Unbelievably talented you’re’, ‘Multi talented’, ‘Extremely knowledgeable’ ‘Never seen a person like’ as a responses to dumb thoughts & ideas initiated over the WhatsApp group then that's it!! from the next day on wards you're being recognized & treated as super talented genius on the floor as people recognize you as a like minded. - All that people do here is stupid overaction , showoff & self dabba. They appreciate themselves, they praise themselves, they celebrate success for doing nothing. People stay late night just to order food from swiggy & eat like shameless buffaloes . - You have the chance of becoming the CEO for this organization if you have the traits like carrying dumb brain, sense of madness, playing cheap politics, begging the employees to speak positive about you in front of management, sharing the credit of someone else hard work to dumb incapable persons, unstoppable self dabba while eating, at work, during meetings, in WhatsApp and even while using restroom. You feel ashamed of yourself to work with this kind of organization. You'll never hear a word called failure, wrong like that in this organization, because people live with following principle - What is Great ?? [Answer] What we build is Great !! - What is Success ?? [Answer] What we achieved is Success !! - What is Right ?? [Answer] What we are doing is Right !! I was stumbled, speechless & scratched my head to understand if success & greatness definition is that easy why the world is trying so hard & running after terms like milestones, results, sales, revenues, profits, clients, business etc. You’ll be amazed, thrilled everyday with the discussions on the floor, over the WhatsApp group, few examples like - Instead of fixing the crappy code which causes the memory leaks, People blame Garbage Collection algorithm & seriously says why shouldn’t we write new GC algorithm itself. - If the application is slow then it’s the mistake of AWS, not the application which takes ages to respond for simple requests & tests user patience. - If the application terminated with OutOfMemory error, People straight away blame the JVM for not handling the application memory requirements & criticize the JVM team like they didn’t implement & thought in proper way. - If the app is hosted at AMEA region it will be slower but the same application hosted at APAC region it will be 10X faster. But application is so innocent & perfect it’s the server region made the application to behave slow & poorly performing. - When you start questioning people dumbness, sense of madness you’ll be tagged as negative minded person on the floor. This is the only place in world where you’ll be treated very low for being right & thoughtful every time. In parallel technically challenged people are treated as world class developers & paid high. If you’ve build something Great, the thing you built shows the world you’re great!! You don’t have to self-proclaim, be narcissistic, begging everyone to praise & acknowledge you’re talented, you’re Great. I'm not sure whether your technical skills & learning get improved here but you'll be mastering following skills while you're here - How to get paid high for doing nothing, how to pretend you're building something great - How to cheat higher management by managing them with demo’s once in a while & when they ask for implementation, revenue etc come up with stories like you didn’t allow us to work in right direction, blaming someone for not getting things ready, less staff, need more time as great things can’t be done in quick time etc and the poor innocent management fall into the same old trap & blindly believe in these deceiver’s stories every time. - How to create own work & getting rewarded, this is a master skill one must know. It’s fairly simple. Just commit some ugly code which breaks the feature which works so well & stable from the long-time & create a panic environment on the floor by doing over action in the WhatsApp & Once QA complains something got broken & serious issue then immediately respond to that & raise your voice like you will take the responsibility to fix that & as you already know what causing the issue, remain calm till late night or weekend then remove the ugly code you injected & send a message saying the issue is fixed & blame the person who initially written the feature, didn’t think of this use case & while fixing the bug done a lot of refactoring which improves the performance of the application as well. That’s it, you will be treated as proactive developer who always ready to take the ownership & working late nights & weekends too & you will be taken into meeting room for at least two-hour long felicitation & rewarded with awesome gifts. No matter what, you can play this trick as many times as you can 😊 - How to grab credit for someone else hard work & sincere efforts. - How to make the right people leave the organization who've got talent by treating them low & not owning credit to them for their hard work & efforts. - Betting is legal here, you’re encouraged to participate in cricket betting’s, playing cards in the office by placing money, Bets on caroms what not all the shameful acts are well entertained here.

Product is an idea of scrap !! It’s not even worth a penny. Can you believe these dumb minds spent 4 years of time & spent 25 Cr money to come up with a non working HRMS app & yet they call it as success !!,they eaten company money like shameless buffaloes. If i would have been part of management, Surely would have filed a cheating case on these deceivers for wasting company money ,time & resources for doing nothing. This is certainly not the place for people who've got talent, competence, common sense & potential to build something creative When Maruti Suzuki is priced more than Ferrari how would you react ?? You would get the same kind of reaction by looking at the people designation & compensation here. No talent No Skill required if you’re ready to lick their under arms, you get promoted to any level you want to. You can find the best examples by looking at the people in positions Lead/Director/CEO. Every level you see a worthless brain with a touch of madness. You find people of cheap quality here. Personally they lack of character & Professionally they lack skill & talent. You feel ashamed of yourself when start working with the people in this organization. No value for your hard work & efforts. People at higher responsible designations brazenly shares the credit to someone else for the hard work you did & sincere efforts you put in. Surprisingly other person also owns it & behave like did everything. Heights of madness, When some dumb brain check in ugly code, which brought the whole application down & made team to spend whole night unnecessarily, the management feels like promoting the person to an Architect because he is aware of bringing down the whole application within seconds & we should make him an architect. You can imagine what makes the people to be at higher positions in this organizations ranging from lead to CEO. Worthless brains at higher positions!! In every organization people excel themselves in the current position to get promoted but here in Kagami people lick the underarms , eat grass, acknowledge the self dabba & owning the credit of talented individual by playing cheap politics. People are dumb, technically challenged & always speak out of context just to prove their existence. Before appear for any discussions they search for some fancy words in google & just start talking about those in meetings. Guess what, it’s being acknowledged & appreciated by the other dumb cowards as they pre plan the meetings with an agreement of supporting each others. You couldn’t stop laughing at these people day in day out!! One feels like whole scrap of professional world got exported & dumped here & they call it as Kagami. No workplace ethics, People place bare foot on the workstations. They are just graduated illiterates. Hikes are directly proportional to amount of boot licking practice, your dumbness, unprofessional behavior, irrational thoughts & the way you appreciate & support dumb conversations initiated by self-proclaimed genius over WhatsApp. Nifty, endowed, mindful individuals won't fit here, either you get fired or people will make you leave the organization with egoistic behavior because you're being right, thoughtful, think in reality & oppose dumb thoughts. If you’re brazen, nondescript, ready to boot-lick for the sake of promotions & hikes, have no sense of ethics, ready to cheat higher management along with the other people who were doing the same from past few years then this is the place for you to work.

Pros

Pay is phenomenal !! Way above the industry standards. There’re lot more organizations in the world offering extremely high packages but what makes Kagami different from other pay masters is you just don’t have to work here instead just do timepass. Company won’t expect any thing in return, they don’t have any road map, milestones, plans, vision , results etc. People engage themselves all the productive time in speaking unnecessary conversations , shameful acts , making fun of others etc. Work environment & culture used to be Awesome when Sunil (Founder & CTO) was actively part of the organization. Adapting to the cloud infrastructure, High performance Linux servers, Porting the platform over AWS, Leveraging ELK stack & EC2 for high availability & scalability of the application, All these initiatives were driven under the supervision of Sunil. After he left the organization things started becoming worse than ever. In the recent times some unworthy people got promoted to higher positions by playing cheap politics on the floor & projecting the other dump people as talented & dumb mindless people designated at higher positions made the organization pathetic place to be work for. Titles in this Organization are just piece of cake & name sake. No skill , No hard work, no talent , No proven track record of success, nothing required to be designated at higher positions. People don’t earn promotions here they just steal it by playing cheap politics. Often you feel like spit on the face of people at designations Lead/Director/CEO. You can’t stop laugh at their over action & show-off in linkedin/facebook after stealing those titles & behaves like they deserve. Organization pay your food bills & most importantly there is no limit to the order total. If you’re kind of person who just don’t mind what others think of your behaviour & bit shameless, you can order any number of varieties from different restaurants & get your bills approved. People just stretch office ours to leverage this benefit. You can earn your financial freedom by working for this firm. If you’re dumb, technically challenged but still you dream about earning Crores as salary being a software engineer this organization fulfil your dreams. Based on your financial goals pick the following lines to get decent hike, Remember saying following lines every day Sir, - You look so smart & handsome (Even though the person look like stand-up comedian never stop praising). Even film actors fall behind you (Overwhelmed & super happy person think This guy deserves 20 % hike this year) - You look pretty young like not even in late 20’s must be below age of 20 (Overwhelmed & happy person think this guy deserves 35% hike) - I’ve got struck here & not able to move forward. Need your intellectual thoughts ,ideas & great brain to solve this problem. Without your genius brain I can’t solve this (though you know how to crack the problem you must say this). [Happiest sir thinks this guy deserves 50 % hike] - You’re my role model, inspiration & like to follow your footsteps. You’re my God. That’s it whoever say this line in this organization gets 100% hike. Overwhelmed sir feels like he is the most deserved person on the floor to be eligible for that stupendous hike. Day long, you find people proclaiming themselves as talented, projecting themselves as successful, praising themselves as Great just appreciate & acknowledge their self dabba. If you don’t appreciate or acknowledge, you will be treated as negative minded , not that proactive person on the floor. Even though the words by the people & self dabba made you laugh, just acknowledge them if you want to be part of the organization No work pressure because there is no work here. Just show-off by people pretending busy, nothing more than that. Management never asks for revenues & successful implementations. No one will be running after you for deliverables. Once you reach office people busy getting into the conversations like which type of fish tastes good, how to prepare chicken curry, discussion on last night comedy tv series etc. Except work & productive stuff people make busy themselves on unnecessary conversations on the floor.

Have you come across a people designated at top most positions in the organizations begging the employees to praise & acknowledge self dabba. Urging the employees to treat him as talented. You meet such shameless, cheap quality, character less people here. Have you seen any organization begging the employees to post fake positive reviews on the Glassdoor?? This is It, The Kagami !! Have you come across any person who designated at the top most position in the organization behave cheaply by manipulating the metrics of application on the feature branches to shower praises on dumb incapable mindless persons ?? In this organization you fill find such cheap quality persons who manipulate the metrics & broadcast the wrong manipulated metrics results to larger audience just to project some dumb people as talented & they deserve promotion & hike. Would you believe, This product development took off when Virat Kohli started playing the International Cricket , Kohli almost smashed every record in the world & He might produce one more world cup to India as a Captain & might produce two children along with Anushka & he might retire from International cricket. Even by that time when kohli decided to retire from cricket you will find this product not working & still in implementation phase. Hard to believe these shameless cowards spent 5 years on the product & coming up with such a scrap !! Meetings last for day long & yet they end up in unproductive. You know the reason why?? Just because people don’t know where they’re heading ? what they are doing? Often find people behave worse than street dogs on the floor. You will be surrounded by Unprofessional, third grade quality people here. Ideas, thoughts , words uttered by people smells worse than GHMC drain. In fact much worse than that. When you lick their under arms whatever you say is right. There is a dedicated group of people who’re best at this. Even they speak non sense they gets back up from top most designated person saying their intention was not that.

Pros

First of all, for those who claims/thinks this is a start-up company, it's not; Yes this company is not a start up. This company doesn't have the pains of any start up company. They don't have a problems of money, product dead lines, success, pressure and this company doesn't have any thing that challenges a company or the employees. My experiences point by point 1. Timings: You will be told that this company doesn't have any strict timings, we have a free timing culture and this is a catch. If you come at 10 AM and leaves by 6 PM, then you are gone. Because in this culture, actual work starts at after 6 PM and on Friday evenings. When you are leaving (at 6 PM), people come and asks you why are you leaving. As a matter of fact, you will leave as there's nothing serious to work by extending the working hours. This leaves you some mental illness that makes you feel like you are not contributing anything to the product. After few days you realize that after six, people started playing carroms till 2AM - 3AM in the moring and claims themselves as the most hardworking people in the world and obviously you will be treated as inferiour to them. But there are some unforturate guys who are forced really to work hard (in fact they don't need to be) 2. Work satisfaction: I'm a typical software engineer who always wants to have more money by working less. (You can all me a less work ethic guy) Even for me at some point of time, I feel that I'm cheating the management (who's funding this company) by contributing something to nothing. 3. Respect: As I said in point 1, if you don't play carroms, pretend to be working after 6/over the weekend, you are gone. Whatever you did to the product, it's nothing. You will be treated as you don't know anything in the product. Whatever you do is simple, and other part is most complex thing that even Google can't undestand with the AI infra that they have. You will be insulted, mis judged at the end they make you feel that you are nothing and you don't even get a job out side if we throw you out. You will really be professionally sick. 4. Favourism: Few people in this company are gods. If they say YES, no matter what ever it is, it is YES. If not, they will make YES. They can take it to such extent they will chnage the meaning of YES. If you ever dare to say NO, that's it. You are screwed. You will be called for one:one to discuss the fuss that's being created by U. You will be treated like BUG in the company. The nice thing is they never fire you because it may spoil the culter and you will be forced to resign with some beautiful treatments. Hikes are Perks are decided based on the hard work that's done. (Am serious, please refer to 1). Your name will be pulled in a meeting and directions will be given to other people to prove you wrong. The amazing thing about this meeting is, this happens when you are not part of meeting. 5. Work station: Please believe me, lot work will be done on WhatsApp rather than Laptop. If you are a good responder on whatsApp, you will be part of God's team. Otherwise, you will be part of people who don't take initiative. Even if it's not your issue or not at all something related to you, you should atleast say "Ohhh", "I think ....", "Great" some kind of jorgons to be nice. 6. Work Culture: The working enviroment is something that can't be explained in words. One has to experience that. The problem is that, there is no mechanism that evaluates the product/work/process followed. Whatever you do is correct. When you try to say it's wrong, (If you dare to oppose God's team) please refer to point 4. By god's grace, if you implement a nice/complex feature, someone in God's team will refactor everything and take the credit of that feature saying that the performance has been improved. The performance gets improved in dev enviroment and decreased in production enviroment. Because there's a problem in production enviroment but not in the product code. 7. Meetings: Meetings are one interesting parts of the company. Team meetings are usually to discuss and decide but here it's other way around. First they will decide and discuss. And as pointed somewhere, they are always right. If you argue even if you have a point to argue, believe me it is next to impossible to convence them. Because, it's decided you can't change it. It will be a never ending story. My laptop batter would be drained if I think of complete whole story. S

Cons

1. The management (the one which is funding this company) is really nice. People from that layer are very very good at heart. Few people who stay in this company only because of them. 2. The current CEO used to be bit crazy at times. But now he started behaving sensibly with Tech/Dev team. (i'm not so sure about other teams). 3. Few people from dev/QA/Functional teams are really good at heart. 4. The other supporting staff are nice. 5. Fun at work

This is fake review posted by one and only non-performer who got fired earlier for his zero contribution who was striving for appreciation and commendation from the management for his nitty bitty feature developments and enhancements and we in kagami always believe in right people should be rewarded for right work and not for minor enhancements when the entire team busy in developing a world-class product this dumb guy couldn't understand the product and its complexity always used to talk about silly things like process, stability etc he had come from service based organization There is nothing wrong using Whatsapp as a forum to discuss the ideas and ambiguities, its startup and trying leverage all sorts of communication channels for product development activities obviously brain-storming discussions will have extremes and it is difficult to entertain each and everyone and more precisely dumb ideas need to be omitted to move forward with product development we work hard and at the same time we encourage team to have fun at work to rejuvenate ourselves the below reviews posted by one and only one ex-employee and content more or less same with different wrappers 29-Mar-18 "Stale Minds, Working on worthless idea from the Ages" 03-Mar-18 "Deceivers Camp, Stay Away, Save your Career, Worst Company to Work for!!!" 16-Dec-17 "Good but no plan to make it a successful" 11-Dec-17 "Horrible/Pathetic/Un-Professional"
