Poor management and culture hold back this company

Pros

Many meetings held only in French or Chinese only, managers are largely French and mostly friends with CEO. Some senior managers (esp. Frederic Sibert) lack basic understanding of the tech industry and (in private) have frustrated many partners and clients.

Cons

Low pay, CEO lacks focus and spreads the team thin, too many layers of management to get anything done

1. great WLB 2. plenty of opportunities to try new techniques 3. colleagues are mostly friendly, skilled and talented

Cons

1. poor higher management, was kind of lost and missed the moment that could make this company even stronger and profitable 2. C-level and BD are absolutely a joke and couldn't even provide clear directions and messages so that engineering departments always poured the water into sand. 3. it was ridiculous that, after losing significant partner such as Gxxgle, promotions for "directors" were still continued. entry-level developers were wondering if KaiOS was going to film a French movie. 4. due to the technical gap across teams from different regions, communications were always inefficient and difficult to get everybody in agreement.

1. Flexible working hours, WFH is possible 2. Many experienced engineers, smart people 3. Good mid-management but higher management is very poor.

Cons

1. Lack of bonus for three years 2. Bad business strategies and lack of focus on the real value of this company. 3. Too many layers managers, it's not a simple startup but a big company, it's unnecessary. 4. No promotion. 5. Too many layoff (50%)
