Pros
Leadership was great. Really taking the company in a good direction. The vibe around the office was wonderful, with leaders very accessible and friendly.
Cons
I had a horrible boss. He was petty and rude and always out to try to make others look dumb. Very few people in the company wanted to work with him and told me so on several occasions. Why he was put in a leadership position is beyond me. As a leader, one of the soft skills you must have is the ability to communicate effectively. No one wants to read emails several pages long about simple requests. This man spoke in the most condescending tone I’ve ever had the displeasure of hearing. Micromanaging is also a demotivator. Imagine being pregnant and having to send an email every time you want to visit the restroom. That happened. It was undue stress on me and my unborn child. Several people left this position while under this person’s leadership. That should have been an alarm bell to management that it wasn’t everyone else, it was the mistake they made in putting this guy in charge of anyone other than himself.
