Amazing friendly work environment. If you end up working consistently at a venue (e.g Micklefield Hall) you will quickly realise how warm and welcoming all staff members and managers are. Once known, shifts will become a lot more frequent.
The actual work is fun, and the change in roles will change with the day if you are working for a wedding which keeps it interesting. For example I would start on drinks reception at the bar before moving onto service or wine and water.
Cons
Slightly hard to get a first shift, but once known that you work hard, they will come a lot more frequently.
