Pros

- HR will speak nicely only during the course of joining the company

Cons

- Poor HR policies - Poor HR responses - No respect for reliving employee - High regret of being part of the organisation If you want to leave the company on emergency basis / health basis then they will relieve you from current project & responsibilities along with disabling all the mail (Kanini mail & project mail) access , payroll access considering you are relieved from organisation. There will be no relationship with the employee & organisation BUT they will say that the last working day would be after 3 months ( considering notice period). But they will not allow you to serve notice period or buy-out option. They simply keep you 3 months unemployed & unsalaried (kind of revenge action) under the name of policy. There will be no response for mails /calls where you need to wait for ages. The beauty here is after 3 months they will give you relieving letter stating the last working day as the day you are relieved NOT THE LAST DAY OF NOTICE PERIOD ENDS. For no reason , you should stay unemployed and keep that as break in your career record.

Pros

Recent change in leadership shows positive signs because people with vast experience in management has joined.

Cons

A company with no data science projects. The only have one reliable client. They will hire you and place you for whatever project they get. You are expected to learn some technology which is nowhere in your stack of experience and you are expected to work. The communication is unclear and when you approach the leadership they will great reasons. The team is so narrow minded that they will never tell you their skill set. Will act like they know nothing and then when you are trying to learn they will deliver the user stories in such a way that you look like you have done nothing and know nothing. Hopefully the new folks joined will change the environment. When the point comes where you feel like getting out of the project, you will be threatened with performance improvement plans and stuff like that. Don't join the data science team and thank me later.

Hi. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Kanini’s foundation for growth and success rests in its founding principle of continual learning. Expanding one's horizons and exploring above and beyond the current set of capabilities is the mantra by which we operate on. It is with this line of thought that we urge our employees to venture into new avenues of technology. We live in the VUCA world and therefore, constantly honing our skill sets(including learning a new skill beyond a known stack) is the guiding principle for growth. Training and equipping our employees to handle the changing landscape of the business needs will always remain our priority. Also, Kanini takes pride in its organization value of always placing People first. The strategic initiatives rolled out by our leadership and managers are always in line with this objective - to create a rewarding career and fostering a happy work environment. Our growing employee population that includes many tenured employees is a testament to the fact.
