The work environment itself is equally troubling. An aggressive and demeaning communication style is regularly used by leadership, particularly when things don't go as planned. Employees are expected to absorb this without pushback, creating an atmosphere where people feel they are walking on eggshells on a daily basis. Psychological safety is essentially nonexistent. What makes it all the more demoralizing is the culture of forced positivity that masks everything underneath. The cheerfulness feels rehearsed and fake.
