Pros
Ability to make good money, some good mentors that take the time to help. Get to see deal flow but overall negative if your goal is a top well known shop.
Cons
No salary, exit ops not the best, ok/bad industry rep, very little training (part of the reason why rep isn't the best). If you want to go to a large sophisticated firm I would not take an offer here. Not learning too much after the first few deals and brokers are not very sophisticated, more just throwing off market deals against the wall. Had recruiters confirm the bad firm rep, look at website to see very little money spent on the brokers and more so the firms principals taking it all (ie see website which looks bad, no money spent on pictures or training). Similar to others, most not very motivated not working crazy hours.
