Pros

no joke, this is the job I would have created for myself if I could have. For many years I said, I wish I worked for an organization that made a real difference, that allowed remote work, and allowed me to work with people who I genuinely enjoy. KAB is all of those things and more. Everyone works hard on multiple levels to make the organization better. When I started, yes there was some chaos but that came from a wish to do more than perhaps we could at the time. Since then the organization has made incredible leaps improving it's effectiveness, processes, internal communications, etc. Much of that is thanks to our new CEO. THis is not lip-service or brown-nosing, she has really made a difference in the character and focus of KAB. I foresee the improvement trend continuing.

Cons

Just the usual stuff, wish we could afford tuition reimbursement but it's worth the sacrifice because I love the people. We need to work more on employing the processes we have established through regular practice. This too has improved though.

KAB is Dead

Pros

A handful of nice, talented, goal-oriented people who are trying to hold the organization together long enough to pad their own portfolios and then move onto the next bigger and better opportunities.

Cons

Out-of-touch leadership - who are more concerned about their fat paychecks than actually supporting the organization. A new CEO who doesn’t seem to understand the need for strategy or adequate planning. Long-time employees who push their work off on new hires while continuing to collect their paychecks. The organization is toxic to the core and has been from sometime now.
