To put it mildly, the job provides an array of stressful situations for an employee.New staff members aren't used to dealing with the situations they are confronted with so since often times there are so many new staff on the front lines dealing with the inmates of whom they have no experience in dealing with, bad judgment leads to the making of wrong decisions, whether they be too aggressive, not aggressive enough but ultimately not being handled in a manner with which they should have been. And this is not to blame the new employee, because they are often times, the majority of times, being taught to deal with these situations by staff who have no experience in dealing with said situations themselves.
