Good to start, leave before you start to hate it
Pros
1. Fresh undergraduates should apply because there’s a few things that your brain can use to pick at. 2. 87% of the people there are amazing and wonderful individuals that made working there super enjoyable, then there’s upper management. 3. A 15 minute walk to the 7 train. 4. Good food in the area if you like Asian cuisine. 5. Work-life balance was decent compared to other engineering jobs/companies.
Cons
1. Usually will leave you stuck in a position for a while, under or overqualified, they wouldn’t move you. 2. Only times positions open up in titles above you are when people are finally done with the place (you inherit their problems). 3. Upper management can’t decide on when they want to listen to engineers, before or after 3-4 years have passed on an incomplete project. 4. Work can be stale. 5. QA/Production v. Engineering drama on a constant basis.
