Stay clear and save yourself the extreme stress

Pros

There are a few good people left at the organization from its early days. The CTO is one of the best people to work for and with. Second Fridays of every month off are nice, if you have a manager who lets you take them.

Cons

You’re expected to work 24/7/365 even though they tell you there is a good life/work balance. Everything is treated like it’s an emergency and needs attention right this second. Upper management doesn’t listen to anyone below them. People are treated like they are dispensable no matter how long they’ve been at Keyfactor. Unless you are best buds with the CEO or CRO, don’t be expect to enjoy working here. Don’t let the perks fool you into working here. Your first 6 months or so will be great. After that, you’ll feel like you’re having a heart attack every day. Save yourself some years on your life and steer clear. There is also a new C-level position every year. This is designed so the buddies of the CEO have protection. This group of people are not your friends. Don’t trust them. Keep your eyes and ears open if you accept a position here.

Pros

-Still some pockets of good people in the organization -Good Technology that is still pacing above competition -2nd Friday of every month off

Cons

-As stated above, unless you're friends with the CEO, CRO, are a part of their country club, or reside somewhere near Atlanta - this place is not for you -Company used to be a great place to work, but senior leadership hires from outside (CRO) and other unearned promotions (CMO, CCO, VP's and SVP's in the customer success organization, VP's in general (there are more VP level people here than I have ever seen), head of Channel amongst others) have driven this place into the ground -New senior leadership comes from very transactional sales background where initial seats and extra seats are purchased on the fly with a credit card. They have ZERO knowledge of PKI, Certificate Lifecycle Management, or complex cyber security sales cycles in general -Company cultures are a farce. They're only lived up to when things are going good. When they're bad, everything they supposedly believe from a value standpoint is thrown out the window -The board determines what bonuses are paid and how much of them are paid, even though the comp plan is in place already - they short pay just because sales misses a quarterly target, and don't tell you until a few days before expected bonus is to be paid -Their Chief People Officer is in way over her head. Any HR issue is not held confidential in ANY way -Any bashing of the "Good Old Boys" club of Atlanta is met with opposition - that group can never be wrong -The company is now looking for "Yes" people to work there who will just fall in and follow the CRO blindly without deviation
