      Good people, terrible management

      Pros

      - knowledgeable and friendly staff (for the most part) - decent location - paid overtime

      Cons

      - poor workload planning - constantly understaffed (so staff is overworked, leading to high turnover) - very outdated IT/tech - cheap with expenses - limited advancement or mentoring opportunities (approximately 20% of the field staff seemed to get mentorship/advancement, the rest were pigeonholed and usually quit after 2-3 years)

      Pros

      staff are generally pretty smart. if you work with the right ones they are really nice.

      Cons

      "work life balance" means project managers are not available before 10 am, sometimes between 2-5 pm, and answer your emails after 7 pm. for work that needs an answer within the next 5 minutes this can be pretty inconvenient. HR gaslights you and calls staff "ungrateful" and "entitled" for wanting better pay and benefits.

      Pros

      Work was interesting with lots of opportunity to bank and make overtime. Team was a lot of fun to work with. Lots of opportunity to travel.

      Cons

      Some PM's showed little to no regard for the worker bees. President was the same, intimidating, mean, and manipulative. Location isn't that great, but it's manageable.
