Pros

You get paid weekly and it's accurate.

Cons

Management needs management training. The company is completely outdated. Stay away from the "Builder Department" if you must work there. Will pat you on the back one minute and let you go without warning the next. Vacation is hilarious.. Company morale is awful.. No diversity in leadership/management roles. Don't respect women opinions. I wish I could be more positive but I have worked in Corporate for over 20 years and this place is the worse. I got questioned for using the bathroom and I wasn't even in sales. So if you like to be micromanaged this is the place for you.

Pros

Above average pay. Getting paid every week. Some of the people I worked with were lovely.

Cons

The nepotism at Kichler is unreal. If you're skilled and more qualified than a family member (both owners and CEO), they will be promoted and/or hired over you in a heartbeat. The CEO's own family members are independent sales reps for Kichler and they take advantage of it by yelling at employees and using scare tactics to intimidate people within the organization. Marketing is treated like a 3rd-class citizen and receives demands for literature and projects from sales on a daily basis. Zero unity between the different departments. Little to no repercussions for mishandling of situations. HR department doesn't know how to recruit and retain employees.

Pros

International focus. Regular employees competent and fun to work with. Some managers are good but most are poor at best. Of course I think that much if this stems from the president.

Cons

Amazng nepotism. They keep bad employees and force good ones out. Make sure that you do not speak your mind. Management prefers a good perception and facade rather than dealing win truth.
