Work from home. As long as you do your part quietly you can stay under the radar. Generous vacation & flexible schedules.
Cons
A bunch of journalists with no business acumen should have NEVER started a company. This is a company led by a bunch of ladies who have no idea what they are doing. AND to top it off they let go of TWO regional managers while they were on maternity leave & going on maternity leave.
During the heat of the pandemic the frontline on ground staff were on reduced hours with the expectation of working full time hours. It is not a surprise they are recruiting for ANOTHER Human Resources Manager. Every one that comes on board runs away within a few months.

Thank you for your feedback. We did our best to navigate throughout the pandemic and to keep everyone together. As the founder of KCJ and a mother of 3 daughters, I am very sorry to read your feedback and will make sure that we are much clearer with the team on organizational structural decisions made and on my background. I am not a journalist, and instead have a few degrees including a business degree and ran an IT company for 6 years before starting KCJ. Before I co-founded the IT company with my husband, I worked for a company and left because I had 3 young children and was not allowed to work flexible hours. Motherhood is something I celebrate and adamant to ensure that KCJ's maternity/ paternity leave is very generous and new parents are supported in their back-to-work. I am proud to be a female (lady) CEO and I welcome an email to discuss further: kate@kcj.org.
A great caring company with LOVELY values. They are awesome and sweet people.
Cons
The implementation of operations is a mess, the COO is doing things differently than the CEO, CKO and the ops and info is a mess. They need to stop the silos and stop the promoting people who do what they’re told but don’t innovate. They are getting rid of great people who get sick of the mess.
