Pros

Work-life balance is considered and cherished. There are many opportunities to work different events and the company will take care of you.

Cons

Not much to say here, I really enjoy my time at the company. If you don't like a friendly environment and kids then this isn't for you.

Pros

Working at the camp is fun and an easy way to earn summer money for the most part. Great place to meet a lot of other fun people with big hearts and the social activities outside of work are a lot of fun too. If you actually enjoy working with kids, then this is an ideal job as you will be basically playing games all day, going on field trips and meeting great people.

Cons

Politics, micromanagement... It seemed to me that in our training, we talked about changing kids lives, becoming a team and being trusted to perform our tasks with our unique characteristics. However, it seems like when things get even a little tough, those ideals fly out the window and people start pointing fingers and assigning blame. Biggest con would have to be when we were told that we should feel comfortable reaching out to management with concerns/possible improvements but speaking to some of the highest up in the chain is like talking to a brick wall.

Pros

Friendships formed with staff. Bonds and relationships built with students and their families.

Cons

Although they pride themselves on this, they lack greatly in communication, transparency, and support.
