Pros

People are nice and friendly and tries to help each other when manpower is an issue. Good colleagues. However not sure if that will be the case when new recruits join. A lot of OT, which is good if you want money. Benefits are not bad. Good place to toughen yourself towards harsher work life.

Cons

Typical Japanese work culture. A lot of workers are overworked, myself included. Hiring Manager was not honest about OT needed, days of work may as well be 6 instead of the typical 5. HR needs to learn to listen and respect its lower paid workers. Only started to take action when it was too late. AM is inexperienced with managing people. Lots of emotional drama during work. Fear-culture. A lot of integrity issues. Safety is almost non-existent. If you're a fresh grad looking to start a career, try something else, please.

Pros

Stable benefits and pay check. Japanese companies don’t lay people off but it’s creates an environment for mediocrity.

Cons

Leadership is focused on themselves since rotation is 6-7 years. They refuse to understand American working culture, below market pay, sexist management, no room for growth, incompetent managers. If you are happy being mediocre and can get a guaranteed pay check and benefits this is your place.
