Pros

You'll be underpaid for the work you do.

Cons

Don't expect them to pay for your time to take training courses, yet they expect you to keep your certification up to date. Their health and benefits plan is paid 50% by the employees and comes out of your own paycheck.

Positive Office Culture

Pros

One of the benefits of working at Kindred is the positive office culture. The company has hired some great people that truly care about one another. Management also doesn’t micromanage so there’s opportunity to learn and to contribute without someone telling exactly how to do something. Work/life balance is also decent. Also opportunities for advancement as project coordinators have been promoted to project managers.

Cons

Smaller company so perks aren’t as substantial as the big GCs but there are a fair amount of social events that are fun, like softball games, lawn bowling, BBQs. Also, processes are being developed but they don’t have rock solid processes in place so things can slip.
