Pros

The only pros to this place were my coworkers.

Cons

Kindred Westminster is one of the most poorly managed facilities I’ve ever worked in. Management is disorganized, unresponsive, and completely disconnected from what staff deal with on the floor. Pay is low for the amount of physical and emotional labor expected. CNA-to-patient ratios are unsafe, workloads are extremely heavy, and being short-staffed is the norm—not the exception. Staff are constantly stretched thin, burned out, and expected to “make it work” with no support. Patient care and employee well-being clearly come last here. I would not recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe or supportive work environment.

Pros

Great staff. The skill is amazing. Seeing patients come in so sick and having such great outcomes is rewarding. Horrible benefits with high premiums and low coverage.

Cons

Wearing multiple hats. Low pay. New NQP program just adds to the stress.
