This company has lost their way and it is really really bad.
New management came in late summer 2018 and the tone changed right away, the teams were shuffled around over and over again with no clear path. The last major project we were basically worked to death for a major system upgrade. Long evenings into the early morning, longer weekends away from family.
Once the upgrades were complete and the overtime ended... boom, the layoffs came. The entire Ottawa team and many in the Halifax office were laid off. Such a disappointment, when we should have been celebrating the successful launch and all the hard work we put in, I was joining the unemployment line.
From the time of the layoffs until now things have gotten worse, most of the remaining good developers have packed up and moved on seeing the writing on the walls.
This place is still trying to lean on what they once were, the company was an awesome family. However this is no longer the case anymore, this is not the company that won all the awards... That company is long gone.
If you are looking at Kinduct as an employer... keep looking.
