      Went downhill fast

      Pros

      Kineo started off brilliantly, innovative, exciting (initially). In the early years it was a brilliant company to work for, so many skilled people and such a good morale.

      Cons

      Bad decisions and bad management and the second it was sold to C&G it went downhill fast. The choice of directors went from bad to worse at the beginning and we felt we weren't being told the truth of how the company was performing. Some strange financial decisions were also taken. Finally redundancies, years of loyal service accounted for nothing unless you were one of the close knit gang of management.

      Pros

      Hard working people who care about the quality of their work and their customers.

      Cons

      No progression unless your face fits; complete unwillingness to invest in modern technology or tooling. Leadership make inexplicable decisions, ignore advice from SMEs, refuse to backfill leavers (causing stress to remaining staff) and pursue pet/vanity projects.
