      Pros

      Was fun before new COO started in mid 2019.

      Cons

      Stay clear of this place. Chopping people off so the new COO can have his own friends because he can’t make any. Very antisocial and will act like it’s a chore to talk to you.

      The people you work with and the area is awesome. A lot of history there on site. Very close to downtown Williamsburg

      Cons

      New ownership has lead the company downhill. The benefits are terrible and they do not treat employees well at all.

      Pros

      Direct management is amazing and has the best interest of the employees at heart. They truly want to see you succeed and will foster your talents in order to help grow your career.

      Cons

      Even though direct management is great and has the best interest of the employees at heart their hands are tied by the owners, Escalante Golf. Escalante is a sham of an investment company. They cannot afford to operate this resort. At times utilities have almost been shut off due to delinquent payments. The moment times get tough they start throwing people overboard. Making their the remaining staff take pay cuts and make them work longer hours. If you would really like to see what you are getting into, read the reviews about Escalante Golf on Glassdoor. This will paint a great picture.
