Pros

The employees at cloudtamer are some of the best people I have ever worked with. They are good at what they do, but more than that, they are a genuine pleasure to work with. The pace of life at the company is brisk, but no more so than would be expected at a startup.

Cons

Salaries are not competitive. Equity is only given out to those who are good negotiators, and even then, the terms are very unfavorable to the employee. Other than medical benefits, cloudtamer does not compare favorably to the average startup.

Thank you for sharing the feedback about your experience working at cloudtamer.io. We pride ourselves on attracting and growing an incredible team of cloud professionals that when unified, not only ensure our customer's experience is paramount but also the day-to-day experience of working alongside each other creates an enjoyable and fulfilling work environment. Our compensation philosophy at cloudtamer.io is designed to be externally competitive, internally equitable and performance based. The total compensation that each employee receives takes into account more than just salary. It also accounts for the outstanding benefits our team receives including the Platinum Blue Cross Blue Shield $0 deductible health insurance with premiums 100% covered for employees and all of their dependents, a monthly 401K contribution with immediate vesting and no matching contribution required, 7 fixed holidays along with between 24 to 30 days of vacation annually (based on tenure), 7 days of safe and sick leave, flexible parental leave of up to 40 days, education and continued training assistance, and in some instances shares of company stock for certain positions and levels within the company. We review each employee's total compensation at a minimum on an annual basis to ensure it is aligned to our compensation philosophy and accounts for any changes in the job market. Additionally, this past quarter we have launched a Career Progression Program to openly offer clear ways for our team to grow their career. We feel all of these help set cloudtamer.io well above other 2 year old startups and demonstrate our commitment to fairly rewarding our team for performing an amazing job. I'm disappointed that your experience was not as good as we would like it to be. I would welcome a conversation to chat directly about the concerns that you raised along with any others that you experienced in your tenure here. I wish you the best in the next step in your career.

Pros

Team members were great to work with.

Cons

Bad leadership can seep into every fiber of an organization—and it often does. Evidenced here. -DE&I efforts very performative -Voiced opinions not often considered -Lack of processes/procedures -"Wearing a lot of hats" reeks of toxicity
