Pros

Some managers and a few associates were cool

Cons

The sucky part about working here is well dam near everything. First all this is a job for anyone in college or highschool. If your over 25 you don't want to work here. The employees consists of immature kids most of whom are working 2 jobs just to go and buy mickey mouse sneakers from vans or pot and junk. Some of the girls seem stuck up. There was one girl who was training to be a key holder and she was acting all arrogant with a big ego. I was like calm down honey. The rules are dumb if you are ringing on the register and there are no customers you are suppose to make believe that you are refolding shirts and straightening things. This is very stupid you might as well just stand behind the register instead of playing pretend. They play the same crappy music. The A.C on the 2nd floor barely works. All the female employees just talk about their corn ball boyfriends all day. I dont care about your lame boyfriend I am here to do a job. Basically I wanted to beat my head with a hammer. I heard the words my boyfriend like 1000 times a day. They have no loss prevention agent or security guard so customers are constantly stealing.

Pros

Quality coworkers and occasional free swag.

Cons

Kitson is a company that wants to expand while at no point investing in itself. Office employees work on outdated equipment and then are penalized for slow turnaround on work. As an employee here I often had to spend my own money on the basic supplies and tools needed to do my work. Upper management is a joke. There is no clear direction and no accountability. Workers are treated with same baseless hostility as customers (seriously, the customer service is also atrocious). Essential staff are routinely let go and never replaced, putting a serious burden on remaining staff. Negligible opportunity for growth. Any demonstration of superior skill or talent results only in greater exploitation.
