Pros
I can’t find any and I tried very hard to.
Cons
First and foremost, any self respecting individual who believes in their talent even a little bit needs to not join this train wreck of a company. In my time there, if there was one thing I realized, it is that people who work here don’t even want to work there. They are only there because 1) they can’t find another job. 2) they can’t find a remote job. 3) they’re okay with being exploited. Now, coming to the management. What an embarrassment. Truly. Mona, who hasn’t worked much and doesn’t have much professional experience except within the company, acts like a know it all. She is the one who quite literally threatened to dock $20 pay if you don’t attend daily meetings (btw, people don’t even make $20 a day here). It’s crazy because that’s actual workplace harassment and abuse. I hope someone sues her to the ground. They do pointless meetings to discuss issues and godforbid if someone points them out, they gaslight them. They will not change their ways. They do not deserve people with industry experience. They hire freelancers for peanuts and then expect their editors to take on all the workload. I genuinely hope everyone who works there finds better opportunities. Lastly, Ems from HR is truly one of the worst people I have had to encounter in my life. Always smiling, but an evil person.
