High stress, poor leadership, and unrealistic expectations
Pros
Benefits, PTO and paid holidays
Cons
The overhead (corporate) department is extremely stressful. The day-to-day workload is heavy, and many employees find themselves working outside of normal business hours just to keep up. Over the years, the company has gone through several acquisitions, which increased the workload significantly without adding the necessary support from leadership. The pace of growth was unrealistic, with no time to adjust between acquisitions. When concerns were raised, leadership responded with empty promises and no real change. Things took a turn for the worse when a new CFO and HR team were brought in, and the overall culture declined. Morale dropped, communication suffered, and the environment became even more demanding and disconnected.
