Pros

You will get exposed to some interesting concepts and software (various control panels), no phone call support work (very good!), Christmas bonus is good, catered food once a month is a nice perk and the rotating 2-day on/2-day off schedule can be nice to get stuff done during M-F on off days.

Cons

Overpriced benefits (however deductible is okay), can't really move upwards even if you want to, many weird coworkers mixed in with (sadly) fewer decent ones, nepotism in most of the top Birmingham management jobs (and these people will likely never, ever leave so you better love them ALL). High turnover among new hires too, which is telling. Training is abysmal (they can never figure it out, so people quit quickly and usually without notice). If you can, look elsewhere (it's not the worst place ever, but not a long-term job for most people). Lastly, you better fit in with key people if you plan to stay for years. They also don't let most employees work remote, despite everything being internet-based.

Pros

* Great management, definitely care for you. * Great all-around people are employed here.

Cons

* Not a lot of pay for the work you do - this is a small company, of course, and one can understand the limitation, but you can get paid better elsewhere.

Pros

The pay can be good for entry career position Some colleagues are good, but all depends on which shift you are in.

Cons

-Very Poor PTO (64 hours per year, that's modern slave) -Micromanagement culture (Tip to management: Search Google why micromanagement is bad) -Long hours (usually, you'll be working 12 hours shifts) -You're expected to blindly follow documentation, even if it was written in 2016. -Company culture is very poor, you're not treated as a human, rather as a ChatGPT bot. -Everything you say, can and will be used against you. (Literally). -Supervisor with no human or management skills. (Tip to management: Supervisors should have good management skills, they should have soft skills to do the job and lead a group, tech skills only are not enough) -No career opportunity. You start as tech support, you die as tech support.
