Taking a position here, was one of the worst mistakes of my life. What a horrible experience!
Pros
The Cuban coffee that the wonderful cleaning people make.. (who are sadly referred to as “maids”) They do have very talented and polite Architects and designers.
Cons
Slavery was abolished in 1865... They clearly did not get the memo, as the atmosphere is very similar. You will be treated like as a peasant while they blow up their personal egos throwing insults. Management will tell you that all theses bad reviews and con updates are from disgruntled former employees. Totally not the case! Adhere to the warnings, and go with you gut when you go for an interview. If you are thinking “I’m up for the challenge”, you have no idea what you are getting yourself into. If you are masochist, and money is your main motivator in life...work here. The owners are rich and successful (they will remind you of this on a daily basis.) They will compensate you well, to verbally abuse you and belittle you. I don’t know what style of management they have? It’s nothing I have ever experienced before until working here. I am surprised it allowed this day in age, or that it’s even legal.. They do threaten to cut your salary, another post talked about this. If you don’t believe this post, reach out to former employees on LinkedIn for advice..I promise you they will all tell you to stay away. There payroll process is very sloppy, and you will not be paid on time or correctly.
