The main issue I had with Kontent.ai is the discrepancy between what the executive board (CEO et al.) says and what's the reality. As an employee, I heard all that time that Kontent.ai is not a corporation with complex processes, that it is transparent and open with employees, that you need to have agile start-up mindset. But the reality is that the company behaves like a corporation and it's certainly not open and transparent in how it communicates with its employees.
I don't mind big complex corporations. It's fine, if the company wants to be a serious enterprise player, it needs to have rigid secure processes and can't be open about everything, even with its employees. But it shouldn't lie about it and pretend it's something it is not. It's unpleasant, unneeded, disruptive, and creates corrosive culture within the company.
