Good benefits but poor management and gaslighting culture

Pros

Good benefits, and 4.5 day work week.

Cons

They really gaslight themselves as being a great company. This also gaslights the employees, which puts pressure on the employees to rate the company as a good company. They are very poorly managed, and do not have a good business model. Every year your manager says that this is the year that we are going to effectively use goals as part of your annual review process. Then when you express the desire to schedule time to work on your goals, your manager says that we really don't have time to work on goals. Then when they do your annual review, they just ignore goals completely. They also ask you to take surveys about the company culture, which are not anonymous, so you can't really be truthful without fear of retribution. They also have a habit of ignoring inner department issues, and then firing the person that reported the problem. This leads to a lot of people that are just gone. They don't let people give a 2 week notice either. No career advancement or internal training to improve communications, and other working skills. Compensation is at an average to low level. They settle for mediocre quality, and call it the best in the industry.

Pros

The only discernible "pro" to working at Kuder is the low-pressure environment created by the company's lack of sales success. This could potentially serve as a safe, gentle first step into a sales or corporate role for someone who is completely new to the job market and needs an entry point without intense performance quotas. However, for anyone seeking a dynamic culture, competitive technology, or genuine opportunities for growth and excitement, Kuder represents a deeply unexciting and backward-looking career path.

Cons

Kuder suffers from pervasive organizational stagnation, with its technology and product offerings lagging approximately 10 to 20 years behind the rest of the industry. This creates a fundamental problem: the product is widely considered antiquated and offers limited unique value, especially when much of what it provides is readily available for free through government online resources. This outdated product directly correlates to non-existent sales and a crippling lack of market momentum, making it extremely difficult for any employee to feel they are contributing to growth or success. This stagnation is compounded by a leadership structure that appears inexperienced and lacks the necessary strategic vision to modernize the company or its offerings. Instead, leadership often resorts to micromanagement, which stems from a deeper lack of trust in employees. The workplace culture is consequently boring and dull, defined by low energy and a notable absence of excitement or positive celebration. This environment fosters low morale and contributes significantly to the high turnover rate, as talented individuals quickly move to more dynamic and modern companies.

Pros

Good health benefits for yourself

Cons

Do not go by their own mission statements. High turnover. Lots of broken promises. Will take as much as you will give with little rewards. What is a raise? Lack of employees to provide federal protections.
